Edgar Flores was raised in the Las Vegas Valley and is the son of immigrants. He understands how one’s immigration status can affect their day-to-day life. He is passionate about helping his clients keep their families together so that they can provide their children the American dream his own parents sought. Edgar graduated from the William S. Boyd School of Law at UNLV. Edgar is dedicated to improving the lives of all Nevadans. He has proudly served in the Nevada State Legislature since 2015 and is presently the Chairman of the Senate Government Affairs committee. He works with hundreds of students in a mentoring capacity every year and has been doing so for over 20 years now. He is devoted to helping Nevada families in need and volunteers regularly at local citizenship fairs.
Edgar is also proud to be teaching this upcoming fall semester at UNLVs Doctorate of Public Policy Program housed within the School of Public Policy and Leadership. He will be teaching passionate students about “Policymaking and Legislative Decision Making.”
Edgar has extensive experience before the Immigration Court, Board of Immigration Appeals, and has successfully presented oral argument before the United States Court for the Ninth Circuit.
